Wed, Aug 28, 2019 Total trades: 3 Total volume: 12 Closed P&L: $-50.00 Ok i am wiping yesterday out of my mind and get back to trading the right way. I got to the gym and had a great workout!!! There is not any significant market moving economic new scheduled for today. The big thing on the macro side is the yield on 30-year Treasury debt fell to its lowest ever. The British pound dropped on reports the government may suspend Parliament to force through a rapid exit from the EU. Trade plan for today is to trade 2 contracts on the ES off of support and resistance and within the OB/OS guidelines and in the direction of the higher time frame. Here are my levels: Man... end of day here and nothing seemed to work out for me today. I felt a little lost for some reason and would miss some pretty good setups. Not sure what is going on with me but I will fix myself tonight!!! i think I was a little apprehensive to take a trade from what happened yesterday...

Tue, Aug 27, 2019 Total trades: 3 Total volume: 20 Closed P&L: $-750.00 here was my premarket work: I got to the gym today!!!! had a great workout!! On the economic releases today is USD Consumer Confidence Index (AUG)Thats at 10am. theres alot of news coming out at 0900 but that is the big one for today. I am going to work on trading my plan and explaining hwy i am getting into the trade and where I am wrong. I am going to note that on my chart. here are my levels: Ok terrible day today. not sure what ,y problem was. i felt good and was concentrating on my charts but just couldn't get a good execution off for some reason. Bottom line is that it was a very bad day on my part trading.  Not posting any charts. Had a trade go against me and I just let it go and then tried to get my money back on a revenge trade. On top of that I got cocky with my past success and doubled my trading size to 4 contracts.

Mon, Aug 26, 2019 Total trades: 7 Total volume: 32 Closed P&L: $500.00 I posted my pre-market work earlier..keeping some in just for continuity this after. Trade plan for today is to trade my plan (OS/OB off of support or resistance) and not get suckered in. I’ll be trading 2 contracts on the ES for a 5 tick take profit per trade. But I will adjust if the market takes off in either direction. Also before I make a trade I am going to post on my chart why I am making the trade and where I am wrong in order to cut my losses. The ES opened August at close to 2988 and right now is trading at 2885. This week appears to be heavy in trade related economic releases. So I think the media and talking heads on TV will be discussing the trade war almost all week. More than likely the discussions will all be negative from the US media perspective. So I think today’s US Durable Goods orders are pretty important market wise. This measures the orders and shipments of durable goods. Orders for durable goods are considered an important leading indicator. When these orders increase, it means the economy is improving and vice versa. So we will be able to see by the data this morning if we are being bullshitted by the media about the trade war because we aren’t getting anything out of China. Last month it came out at +2%. Fri, Aug 23, 2019 Total trades: 0 Total volume: 0 Closed P&L: $0.00    Happy Friday!!!! Another good day at the gym this morning! However when i came home I had some considerable computer issues for some reason so I am way behind on my premarket work.      Big on the news front to day is that China has announced new tariffs on US goods today and futures dropped back down to yesterdays open so we have given up those gains. With everything going on in Hong Kong, the news media, and this trade war, we could easily go to a real combat war with china. Just my two sense. Thu, Aug 22, 2019 Total trades: 3 Total volume: 12 Closed P&L: $400.00 Off to a good start today. I woke up on time and made it to the gym! I had a good workout then came home and had a light breakfast. Im ready for a good day of trading today!!! On the news front the weekly jobless claims came in at 206K vs an estimated 216K so thats good for the economy. The biggest thing on the macro side is the Fed governors meeting in Jackson Hole Wy today and tomorrow. Powell speaks at 1000 Friday so that could effect markets. Apparently there was discontent among the voting fed governors so this meeting could be interesting. Germany lowered their rates last night and are now selling negative yield bonds. Im not sure how that is going to work out however, Japan started it a few years ago and they haven't failed yet. We will see and I'll do some more research into that. Just doesn't make sense to me, unless you're expecting the markets to plung...

Wed, Aug 21, 2019 Total trades: 3 Total volume: 24 Closed P&L: $425.00      I didn't get much screen time to trade today. First I overslept so I missed the gym and also i had a doctors appt in the morning. I finally got to the screen right at the fed minutes announcement. i did have time to do my premarket charts and develop some sort of hasty trade plan for the day. However, the markets traded in a pretty tight range all day while I was gone.     Below is my premarket chart and the levels I was looking at. i think I am going to add a 5min chart tomorrow in order to see more detail at the end of the day.     Also just my two cents about everything playing out on TV right now...I do not see anything in fundamentals if the US economy that warrants a recession and i think that people are talking us into one. Tue, Aug 20, 2019     Im not sure how Blogs are suppose to go but this is going to my attempt at one. This blog will basically be a trading journal with my analysis of the markets i intend to trade that day and then a wrap up at the end of the day with my results along with where i did good and bad. The goal of this blog is to hopefully help me to become a better trader and make a lot more money!! Im hoping this blog will keep me honest with myself with regards to trading and maybe help someone else out in their trading journey.    In order to give some background on me, I am retired from the Army after 28.5 years, I have an MBA, and have been trading for about 3 years now.
