   Happy Friday!!!! Another good day at the gym this morning! However when i came home I had some considerable computer issues for some reason so I am way behind on my premarket work. 

    Big on the news front to day is that China has announced new tariffs on US goods today and futures dropped back down to yesterdays open so we have given up those gains. With everything going on in Hong Kong, the news media, and this trade war, we could easily go to a real combat war with china. Just my two sense. Additional on the news front, Powell speaks today at 1000 so i will stop trading at 0950 for the day due to some other commitments this afternoon. 

trading goals for this short time frame is to #1 be patient, #2 trade only my set-up #3 and dont get whipped sawed around by forcing a trade!!! we will see how it works out!!
Here are my pre-market levels Im looking at:
I didn't make any trades on Friday. I shut down Tradestation at 0950 and left for the day. I didn't want to get whipped around when Powell started talking plus I had a lot going on. But man the Market dropped after Trump started tweeting!! I wish I could've caught that one. But it is always easy to read the left side of the chart vs the right side in real time and you never know how I would've ended up.
The market hit the .618 retracement level from the swing of 5 Aug low to 8 Aug high that we have been trading in between.
I intend on doing some premarket work focused on the week as a whole on Sunday, so if I do I will post again on Sunday then I'll post my premarket work on Monday morning...

Terrible Tuesday. Worst day trading in a while!!!

Tue, Aug 27, 2019 Total trades: 3 Total volume: 20 Closed P&L: $-750.00 here was my premarket work: I got to the gym today!!!! had a great workout!! On the economic releases today is USD Consumer Confidence Index (AUG)Thats at 10am. theres alot of news coming out at 0900 but that is the big one for today. I am going to work on trading my plan and explaining hwy i am getting into the trade and where I am wrong. I am going to note that on my chart. here are my levels: Ok terrible day today. not sure what ,y problem was. i felt good and was concentrating on my charts but just couldn't get a good execution off for some reason. Bottom line is that it was a very bad day on my part trading.  Not posting any charts. Had a trade go against me and I just let it go and then tried to get my money back on a revenge trade. On top of that I got cocky with my past success and doubled my trading size to 4 contracts.

Wild ride today but battled back!!!!

Mon, Sep 9, 2019 Total trades: 27 Total volume: 138 Closed P&L: $412.50        Well today started off terrible for me. I woke up and just felt terrible. I'm not sure if it was something i ate or what. So I skipped the gym, didn't do my pre-market work, took some pepto, and went back to bed. When I got up I felt better but decided not to trade and just get some charting in. My head was a little cloudy and one of my rules is not to trade when i don't feel good. Well I had the perfect set-up forming right off of the 61.8% retracement so i decided to jump in and make a quick scalp. Bam..lost $200 in the matter of seconds so now I have to get my money back. Next two trades go the same way and now i'm down $425 or so. I have a personal daily loss limit of $500 which is 1% of my account so i set my stop at -$75 and went to work scalping 2 and sometimes 4 contracts for 1 and 2 tick moves. keep in mind that it is 345 Pm est at this time and I w
